Our survey results yield to some insight on who our customers would be and if anyone would buy our product. For the most part, people liked our product’s name, “Dream Boat.” A majority said the name makes them feel comfortable. Not too many people said they would buy a product if a celebrity was endorsing it. What we found to be shocking was that most people found their car seats comfortable. The question may have been too vague and we should have said something like, “Could your car seats be more comfortable?” Fortunately most people said, depending on the price they would buy comfortable car seats. Also, most people have been on a Tempur-Pedic bed so our product would make sense to them. What our survey is lacking is the opinion of older adults. Many older adults might find their car seats uncomfortable and buy our Dream Boat seats. Something we could improve on our survey is making the questions more specific. A lot of our answers were “maybe” “depending on..” and “sometimes.” To get more clear results, we need to have answers that tell us exactly if people will buy our product or not.
